The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey will launch its 2013 Lend Us Your Ears reading series with William Shakespeare's play about the nature of politics and politicians, Coriolanus. The reading, which features a prestigious cast of Shakespeare Theatre company members and guest artists, will take place on Monday, July 15, at 7 p.m. at the Shakespeare Theatre's Main Stage, the F.M. Kirby Shakespeare Theatre, in Madison.
This script-in-hand reading will be followed by a talk-back session with the director and cast. This interaction with the audience will provide valuable feedback on the play and its potential for future production.
Tickets for the reading of Coriolanus are $15 for adults, $10 for students. For tickets, call the box office at 973-408-5600, visit www.ShakespeareNJ.org, or e-mail the boxoffice@shakespearenj.org.
The Lend Us Your Ears play reading series will also include a reading of The Madwoman of Chaillot by Jean Giraudoux on August 19 at 7 p.m. and The Tragedy of Mister Morn by Vladimir Nabokov on Sept. 30 at 7 p.m.
